Urban Knights freshman Herman Pratt IV has burst onto the scene in his first NCAA experience, and the San Francisco native has earned his way into seven starts in the Knights first 11 games. In the past week, Pratt scored 19 points over the three games but more importantly shot 75 percent from the free-throw line (6-8). In the game against MSU Billings, Pratt played for a career-high 37 minutes, second only to Alexis Moore, and had nine points on 50 percent shooting and a season-best six rebounds.
The guard has been one of ART U's stingiest defenders, but is also chipping in 7.6 points per game and shooting at a .467 clip while averaging just under 30 minutes per contest (25.9). He had a season-high 13 points in the opener against Cal State East Bay and also has a 1.6 assist-to-turnover ratio.
