Helping the Urban Knights to their best finish since 2011, freshman Mack Marbas broke out for a fourth place finish at the Pacific West Conference Championships on Nov. 7 at Woodward Park in Fresno. Marbas kept pace with teammate Valentin Pepiot at the front of the pack for the duration of the 8k race and turned in a time of 25:10.36 to serve as the second-highest freshman in the results.

He and Pepiot would be named to the All-PacWest First Team which was awarded to the top seven finishers.
