Outfielder Hallie Curtis started her sophomore season with two clutch hits on Feb. 5, propelling ART U Softball to its first win of the year at Cal State East Bay. Coming to the plate with two on and one down in the fourth inning of game two, Curtis delivered a two-run single through the left side, effectively tying the game 5-5 with one swing of the bat. Then, two innings later, she roped a two-out double into left field to put her team up 6-5.

After her first start of the year, Curtis is hitting .667 (2-for-3) with the first double of her career and a team-high three runs batted in.
