Senior Valentin Pepiot led the charge for Academy of Art University cross country this past week on Sept. 17 in a quad-meet featuring Santa Clara, Saint Mary's, and host SF State out at Golden Gate Park. Pepiot ended up completing the 7.25k race in eighth place, crossing the finish line at 23:34. He ended up amid a group of runners from second-place Saint Mary's.
