Senior guard Zoie Sheng once again led the Urban Knights offensively in their 78-68 win over Notre Dame de Namur to start Pacific West Conference play on Dec. 5. In 36 minutes of action, Sheng scored 17 points (7-for-13 from the floor) and dished out eight assists.

Down the stretch in a closely contested PacWest opener, Sheng hit back-to-back jumpers with just under three minutes left to create separation and guide her team to the win. It was her fourth game of the year with 7+ assists and her sixth game with 17+ points. She moves up to seventh in the conference in scoring, averaging 16.1 points per game.

"Zoie was a huge factor in our win against NDNU on both ends of the court," said head coach LaNay Larson. "She scored when needed, especially down the stretch. She doesn't force shots and is a great passer in the full and half court. Defensively she is my most vocal player and does a great job of calling out the different defenses and keeping the communication consistent with her teammates."
