Rian Young-Werner broke out for numerous collegiate-bests this past weekend at the Pacific West Conference Championships in Azusa. In addition to being named PacWest triple jump champion with a NCAA Nationals provisional mark, she helped ART U's 4x100m relay earn a silver medal, ran her fastest times in the 100m, 200m, and posted a season-best in the long jump as well.

On day one, Young-Werner went 18-3 (5.56m) in the long jump for her top mark of the season and qualified through the prelims of the aforementioned events. Then "Championship Friday" saw her earn gold in the triple jump with a 41-0.25 (12.50m) mark in her final attempt. Competing in the 4x100m simultaneously, she provided the anchor leg en route to the team's 47.40 for silver. The Redlands, Calif. native later went 12.31 in the 100m and 25.36 in the 200m.
