Graduate student Joshua Thorson, the PacWest Runner of the Year, was once again the leader for Academy of Art in its historic 11th place team finish at the NCAA Division II National Championships on Nov. 19 in Saint Leo, Florida.

The Industrial Design major made a 43-spot jump after the 3k mark, at one point ran with each of his top four teammates, and ended as a NCAA All-American, the second in program history, with a time of 31:20.4 on the 10k course.
