An integral contributor for ART U women's basketball, senior forward Helena Orts consistently delivered 12.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.0 steals per contest through the Urban Knights' three-game week and, as a result, was named to the All-Tournament Team at the 20th Annual Lynda Goodrich Classic.
Prior to the Thanksgiving tournament, Orts put up 12 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals against Simon Fraser on
Nov. 22. The Acting major then offered five steals plus eight points, four rebounds, and two assists in a neutral site matchup with Saint Martin's on
Nov. 24. One day later on
Nov. 25, Orts had 18 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the field, adding six rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
For the week, Orts ranked second in the Pacific West Conference in total steals (9) behind teammate redshirt senior guard Jazzlynn Brewster. She currently ranks second in the PacWest in steals per game (3.2), sixth in field goal percentage (.464), and 14th in scoring (13.5 points per game).
