Redshirt senior guard Jazzlynn Brewster remained a crucial part of the Academy of Art University women's basketball offense this past week, averaging 14.5 points, 7.0 assists, and 4.5 rebounds in two games in Hawaii.

The week began with a truly unforgettable performance from Brewster who erupted for a career-high 31 points against Hawaii Pacific on Jan. 3, splitting her production virtually evenly over each half. She went 11-for-24 from the field including four 3-pointers (also a career-high), adding five rebounds and five assists. Two days later on Jan. 5, the Communications & Media Technologies major turned in 16 points along with nine assists (the second-highest total in her career), four rebounds, and two steals.

For the year, Brewster has moved up to 12th in the PacWest in scoring (15.6 points per game), now ranks second in the conference in assists (4.8 per game), and is third in steals per game (2.4).
