Senior Natalia Novak once again led the way for Academy of Art women's cross country at the SF State Invitational on Sept. 10.

For the second consecutive 6k race at Golden Gate Park, Novak was the first Urban Knight to cross the finish line, logging a 22:03.4 (over 30 seconds faster than her mark from the previous week) for third individually and just six seconds off the top finisher, Olivia Willett from No. 11 Simon Fraser. Novak's effort guided No. 17 ART U to third as a team.
