The final week of the regular season was a rather memorable one for Natalia Novak as she broke two program records while moving up the national rankings in both the mile and 3000m.

Novak's third mile of the season saw yet another major drop in her time as she bettered the previous ART U record that she owned by nearly three seconds with a 4:45.71 mark at the Fastrack Last Chance Invitational on Feb. 26. The Communications & Media Technologies major settled inside the top 10 in NCAA Division II at seventh heading into Indoor Nationals in two weeks.
 
Two days later at the BU Last Chance Meet on Feb. 28, Novak again improved upon a school record she had set earlier this season, taking almost 10 full seconds off the time by going 9:30.67 in the 3000m. The Békéscsaba, Hungary native elevated to 13th in the nation with the dramatic improvement.
