Sophomore pitcher Jolene Rhoades put forward three strong outings in the circle, playing a key role in a pair of victories for Academy of Art softball this past week.

Starting the week at Holy Names on Mar. 25, Rhoades delivered one of her best outings of the year with just one unearned run allowed on four hits with three walks and a season-high six strikeouts across a complete 6.0 innings. Though the Urban Knights did not collect the victory, the Fine Art - Sculpture major picked up both wins on Mar. 27 against Dominican. In her 3.0 relief innings of game one, she surrendered just one run on two hits with two walks and two strikeouts before returning to log 4.0 shutout relief innings in the day's finale, facing just five baserunners via two hits, a walk, a hit batter, and an error.

The week as whole saw Rhoades allow a grand total of one earned run on eight hits in 13.0 innings of work with six walks and eight strikeouts. Her 83.2 innings pitched this season have her ranked fifth in the Pacific West Conference.
