Redshirt freshman midfielder Elvis Mensah came home with three points during the three-match road trip to Hawaii for Academy of Art men's soccer last week, scoring a goal while also notching an assist. During a 3-2 defeat against Chaminade, Mensah buried his second marker of the campaign when he finished off a free kick from Gilly Miller, as he now ranks second on the team in goals. His fifth point of the year came in the final match of the trip, another 3-2 defeat against UH Hilo, as Mensah set up freshman Nixon Thompson after a goal kick with a forward pass up the left side of the pitch for the go-ahead goal at the time.
