Impressive production both driving in and scoring runs came from Academy of Art softball freshman infielder Audrey Allen in a pair of wins over Menlo this past week.

Following a 1-for-5 day versus Cal State East Bay on Feb. 14, Allen had productive swings virtually every time she stepped to the plate in the Feb. 17 doubleheader hosting the Oaks. The Interior Architecture & Design major was 3-for-4 with two runs batted in, two runs scored, and a double in the opening contest then finished the day with a 3-for-3 performance in game two that included three driven in, one run scored, and another double. Allen hit .583 (7-for-12) with a total of five RBIs, three runs scored, and two doubles across the four-game week.

On the season, Allen now ranks 14th in the Pacific West Conference in batting average (.342), is tied for fourth in total hits (13), tied for sixth in doubles (3), and is tied for 14th in runs batted in (5).
