Academy of Art men's soccer freshman midfielder Joey Glaab knocked in a pair of goals and led his team from a two-score deficit into a comeback tie against Dominican on Sept. 7.
 
The Urban Knights hosted the Penguins at Paul Goode field and found themselves earning their second tie of the season from an all-star performance by their newly added freshman. Glaab’s 38th minute goal was netted off a corner kick, with his header in the 76th minute occurring in similar fashion. These were the first scores of the midfielder’s collegiate career and the first scores for the Knights for their 2023 campaign.
 
Early into the season, Glaab is tied for second in the Pacific West Conference rankings in total goals (2), tied for fifth with numerous others in total points (4), and is one of two players that has played in every minute thus far into the season for the Knights.
