No. 22 SPU Tops ART U

Phoenix, AZ -- The Urban Knights faced their best opponent of their young season, and No. 22 Seattle Pacific looked dominant as they kept the Knights winless on Saturday, handing ART U a 63-33 loss. Hunter Hayden got back on the stat sheet with a big night on the boards, reaching double-digit rebounds for the first time this year, but it wasn't enough to get the Knights in the win column.

The Falcons kept all of the Urban Knights scorers under double figures, with Czar Robotham setting the pace with eight points. Ameer Shamsud-din added seven points, Hayden had six points, and William Overton, Jr. also added six for the Knights.

Seattle Pacific was led by Andy Poling's 18 points and nine rebounds, and Jobi Wall had seven points, seven rebounds, and five assists for the 22nd-ranked Falcons. The Knights did hold the Falcons to only 37% from the field, and also forced nine turnovers.

Academy of Art will head to Fresno to take on the Division I Bulldogs, and then will be back home at Kezar to take on Menlo College on December 3rd.
