TIPPING OFF
The Urban Knights need a win and will have a great opportunity against their South Bay rivals Notre Dame de Namur. Academy of Art fell on the road against Dixie State and Point Loma last week, and will be defending their home court, where they are 2-5 on the year. Alex Carmon led the Knights with 25 points against the Red Storm and Alexis Moore was the scoring leader with 22 points in the loss to the Sea Lions.

ARGOS TREADING WATER
The Notre Dame de Namur basketball team has had a split personality this season, as they're a game over .500 in Belmont (6-5) but winless outside of the South Bay (0-8). They won three in a row hosting the Hawaiian schools to close out January, but fell in back-to-back games against Fresno Pacific University. Those were both close games, as the Sunbirds prevailed 76-71 and 73-70. Simon Enciso is averaging 14.0 points per game, while Don Washington is 16th in the conference with 6.2 rebounds per game.

CRASHING THE BOARDS
While any Urban Knights big man will be looking up at alumni Hunter Hayden's program record of 612 rebounds for a while, the Knights have a handful of players who are marching their way up the rest of the top-10 list, all with over 200 boards. Aaron Aikman sits in fifth place with 259 rebounds, followed by Alex Carmon (239), who still has a couple years to build on that. Aaron Anderson will have one more season to add to his number of 217, which is seventh, while second-year big man has pulled down 204 to round out the top ten.

IN TRANSITION
After the home game against the South Bay, the Urban Knights turn their sights to the east to face an attack from Holy Names on Thursday, February 13th. Then they will hit the road and travel to NDNU and Fresno Pacific on February 15th and February 17th before their next home game against Dixie on February 22nd.
