BACK IN THE WESTThe Urban Knights finished their non-conference portion of the schedule last weekend and will head to Belmont, Calif. to take on the Notre Dame de Namur Argonauts in their first PacWest matchup of the season.

TIP OFFThe Academy of Art will face NDNU on Saturday, December 5, at 3:00 p.m. The history between the two schools dates back to 2009 and scores have traditionally been close: out of the 14 contests between the two teams, only two games have been decided by more than 10 points. KNIGHTS OF KNOTEJunior guard
Chris Salas leads the team in several categories: points (12.2 per game), field goal percentage (.456), three-point field goal percentage (.522), and rebounds (3.8 per game). Sophomore guard
Jase Harrison is is just behind Salas in several stat categories, posting the team's second most points per game (10.3), field goals made (22), and rebounds per game (3.7). Harrison also leads the team with 1.8 steals per game and free throw percentage for those with five or more attempts (.917). Redshirt junior
Sergio Valdeolmillos had two strong games last week, averaging 16.0 points, a .730 three-point field goal percentage, and a .610 average from the field. Against SF State, Valdeolmillos notched a career-high 17 points, scored the program's second-most 3-pointers in a game (five) and landed a three with with 16.5 seconds remaining in regulation to force the game into overtime.

ARGOS IN SEARCH OF A WINNDNU enters this week 0-4, 0-0 PacWest and is on a 13-game losing streak dating back to last season. The Argonauts last defeated the Urban Knights in February of 2014. Korey Serna has led the team thus far, averaging 10.0 points per game with a .636 field goal percentage and has the second most rebounds per game (5.0).
GATORS BEST URBAN KNIGHTS 73-72 IN OVERTIMENov. 28Â - Saturday's inter-conference matchup between San Francisco State and the Academy of Art was an overtime thriller which resulted in a 73-72 final tally in favor of the Gators.

Four minutes and 19 seconds into the game, the Academy of Art was already facing a 12-0 deficit. The Urban Knights proved their resolve by continuing to claw their way back and slowly diminish the gap. The comeback was finally completed in the second half when only seconds remained on the clock.

LOOKING AHEADOn December 12, the Academy of Art heads to Fresno to take on the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds at 4:30 p.m.
