ART U IN FRESNO
The Urban Knights defeated Notre Dame de Namur 66-56 on Saturday to take their first PacWest matchup of the season. ART U now heads to Fresno to take on the Sunbirds at Special Events Center.

The Academy of Art will face Fresno Pacific on Saturday, December 12, at 4:30 p.m. The Urban Knights are 1-2 against the Sunbirds, dating back to their first game in 2013. Art U won their previous matchup last season with a 90-88 final score in overtime. KNIGHTS OF KNOTE
Junior guard Chris Salas had a dominant game on Saturday against Notre Dame de Namur. He had a flawless first half, shooting 6-for-6 from the field and 3-for-3 from beyond the three-point arc. Overall, Salas posted his second-highest point total of the year (18), going 7-for-9 and contributing seven rebounds. Salas also leads the team in several categories: points per game (13.0), field goals and three-point field goals made per game (4.7, 2.1 respectively), rebounds per game (4.3), and minutes per game (28.4).
 
Sophomore guard Jase Harrison is just behind Salas in several statistical categories, posting the team's second most points per game (10.6), field goals made per game (3.7), and rebounds per game (4.0). Harrison also leads the team with 1.9 steals per game and free throw percentage for those with five or more attempts (.875).
 
SUNBIRDS LOOKING FOR PACWEST WIN
Fresno Pacific takes on ART U, facing a four-game PacWest losing streak that dates back to last season. The Sunbirds' last game was on the road at Dominican where they fell 102-92. Roger Paul enters Saturday's game leading his team in the majority of stat categories including: points per game (18.3), free throws made per game (8.2), total assists (16) and minutes per game (27.7).

URBAN KNIGHTS TAKE FIRST PACWEST GAME 66-56
Dec. 5- Saturday's yo-yo game in Belmont featured 13 late lead changes, but the Urban Knights (3-4, 1-0 PacWest) came away with a decisive 66-56 victory over the Notre Dame de Namur Argonauts (0-7, 0-1 PacWest).
 
ART U was fighting an early uphill battle as NDNU made the game's first bucket and was leading 12-5 after six and a half minutes had expired in the first half. The Urban Knights fought back however and were able to tie the score at 14 with 10:35 on the clock and took a 17-14 advantage when freshman guard Cobe Williams landed his second 3-pointer of the game. The lead would change three more times before the half was over, but ART U would keep it close.
 
LOOKING AHEAD
On December 17, the Academy of Art returns home to face off with Dominican University of California. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m., following the women at 5:30 p.m.
