BACK TO SOCAL
Academy of Art will look to continue their two-game winning streak this weekend when they make their final trip to Southern California of the 2017-18 season. There, they will face two of the PacWest's top contenders: Point Loma and California Baptist.

TIP OFF
Saturday's contest against the Sea Lions will tip off at 4:00 p.m. and Monday's game against the Lancers will begin at 7:00 p.m. Live coverage will be available at the links listed above, but as always, you can follow the Urban Knights on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

KNIGHTS OF KNOTE
Senior guard Kendall Brown leads the team in several statistical categories including average points (15.8) and minutes (31.6) and is second with 5.7 rebounds per game. Brown's scoring average is also ranked as the ninth-highest in the PacWest. As a team, ART U enters Saturday's contest with the third-ranked defense in the conference with an average of 69.8 points allowed per game.

SEA LIONS ON A ROLL
Point Loma currently sits in fourth-place in the PacWest and they are in a stretch of six wins over their last seven games. Their four losses have only come at the hands of California Baptist and Azusa Pacific (two games each). The Sea Lions' success can be attributed to contributions received from up and down the lineup: there are four players on the team who are averaging double-digit point totals including Preston Beverly who leads PLNU with 14.8 points per game.

LANCERS THIRD IN CONFERENCE
California Baptist enters the weekend with an 8-3 conference record, having won three of their last four games. The seventh-placed Concordia Eagles pulled off a big upset over the Lancers on January 20 when they defeated CBU by the score of 72-59. Nonetheless, California Baptist turned around to record a big win themselves over Azusa Pacific who is currently ranked second in the PacWest. The Lancers have three players averaging double digits in points while Kalidou Diouf leads the team with 17.1 (third in the conference). Diouf has been strong on both sides of the ball as he also leads CBU with 8.8 rebounds per game (also third in the PacWest).

PREVIOUS GAME: EFFICIENT SHOOTING LEADS ART U TO VICTORY OVER BIOLA
Jan. 29 - Monday night's contest between Academy of Art and Biola University was the definition of a back-and-forth game as for 40 minutes, neither side's lead stretched beyond single digits. However, the Urban Knights pulled away in the final nine minutes, eventually recording their ninth win of the season, matching the men's basketball program record.
