After returning from their first road trip of the season, Academy of Art will now host the Dixie State Trailblazers in a Sunday-Monday series.

KNOTABLE KNIGHTS
Senior outfielder
Evan Ray currently leads the team with a .327 batting average and his three home runs are also a team-high. On the pitching end, the Urban Knights have multiple strong performers: junior right-hander
Ben Kaser leads the team with a 2.05 earned run average, while junior righty
Angel Mora's 2.35 ERA is a close second. Mora also leads ART U with three wins and a .132 batting average against which is the lowest amongst all starters in the PacWest.

TRAILBLAZERS IN FINAL PACWEST SEASON
2018 will be the last season that Academy of Art and Dixie State go head-to-head during the conference schedule as DSU is moving to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) next year. So far this season, the Trailblazers have a 6-12 overall record and a 2-6 conference mark. Thus far, they have faced tough PacWest opponents including Point Loma and No. 1 Azusa Pacific. In their most recent series against the top-ranked Cougars, the Trailblazers only managed to steal one game from APU when they posted a 14-3 blowout in game three. Logan Porter has been DSU's biggest offensive contributor thus far, touting a .407 batting average and he also leads the team in: runs (15), doubles (seven), home runs (three), and runs batted in (13).

March 3 -Â Entering Saturday trailing 2-0 in the series, Academy of Art put on a show on both sides of the ball, ultimately earning a doubleheader sweep to split the series with Concordia.
