PACWEST PLAY BEGINS, KNIGHTS CLOSE NON-CONFERENCE
Academy of Art takes on Fresno Pacific in their PacWest opener on Thursday night in Fresno, before returning home for a single non-conference game against Cal State San Bernardino at Kezar Pavilion on December 10.

KNIGHT WATCH
Junior guard Stefan Milivojevic is coming off a career-high 31 point game against Chico State on Nov. 27. Milivojevic also made a sensational 11-of-13 from the field and 5-of-7 from 3-point range. He collected four rebounds, an assist, a steal, and one block in his team-high 38 minutes. His five 3-pointers tied his single-game career-high and he now leads the team in scoring with 13.2 points per game. Junior guard Kai Tease is ART U's second-highest scorer with his 13.0 points per game. Tease scored 18 points in the Knights' most recent game, for his second-best scoring performance of the season. Senior forward Tim Graham leads in rebounds, with 7.2 per game, while his 9.3 points per game are third highest. Junior guard Joshua Bagley facilitates the scoring and has a team leading 16 assists (2.67 per game). He also averages the fourth most points per game (9.0). 

FRESNO PACIFIC SUNBIRDS
Fresno Pacific comes into their game against ART U with a record of 2-4. The Sunbirds opened their season with two straight losses at the West Region Crossover Classic, falling to Montana State Billings 77-73 and Humboldt State 89-81. A four-game losing-streak ensued when the Sunbirds dropped decisions to Cal State Dominguez Hills (68-64)  and Cal State LA (86-83). FPU earned their first win of the season in their home opener on Nov. 26 against Cal State Monterey Bay by a score of 78-67. That same week they took down Cal State East Bay 76-73 on the road. Adrian Antunez is FPU's leading scorer and averages 13.8 points per game. Aamondae Coleman is just narrowly behind him with his 13.7 points per game. ART U is 4-7 all-time against the Sunbirds and split last years two meetings. 


CAL STATE SAN BERNARDINO COYOTES
Cal State San Bernardino is currently fifth in the CCAA with a conference record of 1-1 and an overall record of 5-2. The Coyotes won their first game of the season against Concordia (Ore.) 86-76 and started a win streak when they defeated Central Washington 80-71 in their next game. CSUSB's first loss came on Nov. 16 when they were topped by Point Loma 93-91. DI Fresno State routed the Coyotes 92-47 next, but they bounced back to defeat Cal Poly Pomona 72-70 on Nov. 21. UC San Diego took them down 86-77 on Nov. 24, but the Coyotes come into their game with ART U having won two-straight against Texas A&M International and St. Katherine. Jeremy Smith leads the team and is seventh in the CCAA in scoring, averaging 17.7 points per game. Daytone Jennings is second on the team with his 15.9 points per game. CSUSB is 2-0 all-time against ART U and won the last meeting in 2016 by a score of 76-72. 

MILIVOJEVIC DROPS CAREER-HIGH 31 IN LOSS TO CHICO
Despite junior guard Stefan Milivojevic scoring a career-high 31 points, Academy of Art dropped a 68-63 decision to Chico State on Wednesday evening inside Kezar Pavilion.

LOOKING AHEAD
After taking on the Coyotes the Urban Knights will return to PacWest play, starting with Chaminade on Dec. 15 in the second game of their six game home stretch.
