The day started with No. 6 Thell-Lenntorp twins handling business with a 6-1 win over Jacky Wagner and Kera Hinton for their 10th win of the season. The Urban Knights took the doubles point when junior

Sofia Ragona defeated Petra Ivankovic and Mikayla Rinker 6-3 to improve to 8-3 and send their winning streak to four.
Battling injury for a large part of 2019, senior
Paula Alcantara earned her first victory since
Feb. 24. Alcantara defeated Mikayla Rinker 6-1, 6-4 for ART U's first single win. The historic A. Thell-Lenntorp win came next, a dominant 6-3, 6-0 victory for the 62nd time in her career. The Urban Knights clinched the important match when K. Thell-Lenntorp won her team leading 10th singles match of the season by way of a 6-4, 6-3 score.
With the win over APU, Academy of Art improves to 9-4 on the season. ART U will take on Sonoma State on Senior Day, April 5th starting at noon. A short celebration to honor the five seniors will take place 10 minutes prior to the match. Â
