AZUSA, Calif. – Opening its final meet of the regular season, No. 10 Academy of Art women's track & field saw all three of its Friday competitors deliver either NCAA Division II Outdoor Nationals provisional qualifying marks or season-bests at Azusa Pacific's Last Chance Twilight inside Cougar Stadium.
In the 1500m,

Giulia McIsaac went 4:56.98 in the event for her fastest time since 2019.
The first Urban Knight to compete on Friday was newly crowned
PacWest Field Athlete and Field Freshman of the Year Marie-Jeanne Ourega who emerged with the longest long jump among NCAA DII competitors on the day. She soared to a 20-9 (6.32m) in her third attempt, eventually bettering Concordia's Paige Johnson and clearing 20-8 (6.30m) for fourth straight meet. Ourega remains the owner of the top distance in NCAA DII at 21-7.25 (6.58m) here in 2021.
ART U will return to Cougar Stadium for a full slate of competition tomorrow in the second and final day of the Last Chance Twilight.
