Ashana Hinds connected from long range early in the second to bring the Knights into double digits, but eight consecutive points from Azusa Pacific helped eventually make it a 41-20 halftime score.
Both sides traded baskets in the early part of the second half as five consecutive field goals made began with a jumper by sophomore guard
Jadence Clifton before a layup by sophomore forward/center
Christy Ojide were supported by multiple makes and another Manns triple. The margin came down to 17 points on multiple occasions as ART U outscored the Cougars 21-18 in the frame, but a 12-0 run just under three minutes into the fourth allowed APU to prevail 74-48.
Academy of Art moves to 5-15 on the year and 5-10 in conference action with the trio of Manns (12 points), Wilson (11 points), and Ojide (10 points) all scoring in double figures. Adding 14 rebounds and five steals, Wilson's 28th career double-double matched her season-best from last year and surpassed the program's previous record-holder
Jasmin Guinn. Freshman guard
