ACADEMY OF ART TAKES PERFECT RECORD INTO NON-CONFERENCE MATCHUP
Off to a 3-0 start to the season, Academy of Art women's basketball looks to carry that momentum into another game versus an opponent from the California Collegiate Athletic Association in Stanislaus State this weekend.

KNIGHT WATCH
Composing ART U's perfect record, wins have come over SF State (
Nov. 8), Cal State Monterey Bay (
Nov. 9), and Cal Maritime (
Nov. 12) in the season's first four days of action. As a team, Academy of Art currently ranks leads the Pacific West Conference in rebounds per game (48.0) in addition to sitting, second in opponent field goal percentage (.318), third in points per contest (71.3), and fourth in steals (10.0) and 3-pointers made (7.0) per game. Truly balanced on the offensive end, ART U carries seven different Urban Knights who are averaging over 5.0 points per game led by junior guard
Alba Rovira Ayuso (12.3) and freshman guard
Violet Stutz (10.0). The tandem of senior forward/center
Christy Ojide Boiko (7.3) and senior forward
Yasmine Sifaoui (6.7) are both inside the conference's top 10 in rebounds per game with Ojide Boiko's .565 field goal percentage ranking fifth overall. Defensively, freshman forward
Keira Mitchell's 1.3 blocks per contest are seventh in the PacWest and the sophomore guard duo of
Anna Fornells (2.3) and
Lucia Revenga (2.0) are also both inside the conference's top 10 in steals per game.
WEEKEND WARRIORS
Picked to finish 10th in the CCAA, Stanislaus State has yet to win this through two games this season, dropping results to Central Washington and Northwest Nazarene by 20+ points thus far. The Warriors are led by Da'Myiah Lewis' 20.5 points per game and Talia Maxwell's 8.0 rebounds per contest. Stanislaus State has had the edge in its last three matchups with ART U, leading to a 5-3 advantage historically.
DOMINANT COLLECTIVE EFFORT LEADS ART U TO WIN OVER CSM
Victorious for the third straight occasion to begin its 2024-25 season, Academy of Art women's basketball outplayed Cal Maritime throughout ART U's
Nov. 12 home opener, combining contributions from up and down the roster in a 77-57 triumph.
