SAN FRANCISCO – Out at CCSF Soccer Field for the Urban Knights' Senior Day where they honored defender Chris Stokes and forward Elvis Mensah prior to the match, it was No. 6 Point Loma that would take the Pacific West Conference win to close out 2024 for ART U.

Taking the lead early against Academy of Art men's soccer, the Sea Lions were able to play with an advantage for a long duration the match, as they saw Elijah Langford sneak one in towards the right post before pulling off an identical play from the opposite side in the 14th minute. With three more scores in the first half for PLNU, the Knights were seen firing at the net as well throughout the half with six shots. With Stokes starting the match off for ART U sending one Reinier ter Riet's way, freshman defender Tommy Huang and freshman midfielder Keita Goto were seen taking the other five.

As Point Loma kept their foot on the gas in the second half, the Knights saw four more shots on the offensive side making it double-digit shots in the match for ART U, as they closed the match out with a score from junior forward Adrian Lechuga. Given the opportunity for an indirect free kick just outside the six yard box in the 86th minute, graduate student forward Guilherme Benites da Silva walked up to take the kick, and passed the ball off to Lechuga for the score.

Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Florian Grollmann capped off his first year with the Knights by tying his season-high in saves in the match (8), while officially playing in every minute of ART U's season in addition to Stokes.
