PacWest Weekly Awards (Nov. 2)

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Senior forward Quintin Metcalf of Academy of Art men's basketball has been named Player of the Week by the Pacific West Conference for the week of Nov. 25  - Dec. 1 for his performances in victories against Stanislaus State on Nov. 27 and Simon Fraser on Nov. 29.

On the week, Metcalf scored 26 points combined, which included 8.0 rebounds per contest while collecting four steals and two blocks. In the Wurzburg, Germany native's contest against Stan State on Nov. 27, Metcalf's 14-point and 10-rebound performance secured him the first double-double recorded by a member of ART U this season, while it is additionally his first double-double as an Urban Knight.

While Metcalf leads the squad this season in collecting boards down near the glass, he also ranks high among the Pacific West Conference leaders as well, standing in seventh place overall with his 7.0 rebounds per game average.

This award is the first Player of the Week award and conference honor for an Urban Knight of ART U men's basketball this season while it's additionally the first of his career.
