Biography

2017: Mendez played in six games and 357 minutes for the Urban Knights ... collected 13 saves and posted a .542 save percentage.

2016: Started all 18 games for the second-consecutive season while posting a .625 save percentage ... collected one shutout and a 3.38 saves per game average. 

2015: Posted a historic freshman season ... his .797 save percentage stands as the highest single-season mark in ART U men's soccer history ... set the program record with five shutouts in 2015 ... his 106 saves were just one shy of the program-record, and his average 5.89 saves per game also ranked as second-best in a season. 

Harbor High School: Mendez joined ART U after graduating from Harbor High School ... played club soccer with the Santa Cruz Breakers Academy where he was a three-time participant at the National Training Center ... helped lead the Breakers to two California State Cup championships.
