2009-10: Jungsten wrapped up the year ranked second on the Knights in free throw percentage ... played in 24 games ... averaged 2.5 ppg, 1.5 rpg, and made 11 of 14 (.786) free throws ... set new career-highs in three-pointers made (3) and free throws made (3) in addition to scoring a season-high 14 points against Seattle Pacific (Dec. 29).

2008-09: Jungsten finished the season ranked fifth in scoring for the Urban Knights ... played in 25 games, starting eight ... averaged 5.5 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 0.8 apg ... pulled down 11 rebounds as part of a double-double versus Holy Names (Dec. 30) … also dished out four assists … scored a career-high 20 points in a victory over Holy Names (Jan. 3) … had three blocks at American Sports (Feb. 7).

High School: In his senior year at Del Oro High School, Jungsten was a key contributor in his team's 72-48 victory over its rival ... it was their first victory against the opponent in three years.

Personal: Josiah Jungsten was born in Sacramento, Calif. ... parents are Michael and Mechelle Jungsten ... his father passed away when he was five years old ... has one sister, Tatum (15) ... hopes to become a professional basketball player ... enjoys hanging out with the team, Xbox, listening to music, movies, and spending time in the city ...
