Kurt Devlin

Kurt Devlin was named Academy of Art Men's Soccer assistant coach/goalkeeper coach on July 1, 2016.

Devlin served as a part-time assistant to the program for two and a half years including a one year stint in 2010 and then rejoined in 2015.

The Urban Knights' 2017 campaign saw them go 5-12-1 overall and 4-9 in PacWest play with 11 Academic All-PacWest selections. In 2016, the team's academic focus remained strong with 10 separate players receiving Academic All-PacWest awards.

In 2015, the team enjoyed another eight-win season, going 8-8-2 overall with a 6-6-1 PacWest record. Two players earned four conference weekly awards while two were named to the All-PacWest Third Team. Meanwhile, seven student-athletes were awarded with Academic All-PacWest awards.

In 2010, Devlin worked alongside PacWest Coach of the Year Daniel Rosaia to guide the team to its best overall record in program history (8-10 overall, 7-7 in the PacWest).

In his college years, Devlin played at Skyline College before transferring to University of Tampa. Afterwards, he served as assistant coach with the San Francisco Bay Blackhawks before spending time in Costa Rica, assisting the Club Sport Herediano, first division, and Municipal Paraiso, second division.  After returning from Central America, Devlin was named the head coach at Canada College from 2001-2014, splitting time between men's and women's soccer.
