2023: Posted outdoor season-bests of 10.74 in the 100m at the PacWest Championships and 22.61 in the 200m at the Cardinal Classic.

Previous Experience: Thurton was a provincial medalist (OFSAA) and two-time New Balance national qualifier (indoor & outdoor) ... team captain of FC Durham ... posted an indoor best of 7.09 in the 60m and outdoor bests of 10.68 (+2.8 m/s wind) in the 100m and 22.13 in the 200m ... also competed in soccer at Notre Dame Catholic High School ... member of the Speed Academy Athletics Club.
