Andrea Hanchey enters her first year as a student assistant for the Academy of Art softball team after playing four seasons for the Urban Knights.
Hanchey, one of the most durable and consistent players at ART U, led the team with a .987 fielding percentage (second all-time for a single-season) and captained the squad as a senior in 2013. The Knights' career walks leader (66), she is also the only ART U Softball athlete to play in and start over 190 games and ranks among the Top 5 career leaders in hits (155), home runs (8), and RBIs (80).
Hanchey will be continuing her education in the School of Fashion Design while serving as an Urban Knights student assistant.
