Megan Miller

Megan Miller is a 2009 graduate from the University of Louisiana Monroe where she majored in Fitness and Sports Studies. Miller was a catcher for ULM's softball team, where she played from 2005-2009. She was in the top three on her team for highest batting average all four years. Megan was selected to the All Conference team in 2008, and was named Conference Tournament runner up that same season. After helping lead her team offensively during her time at ULM, Megan is ranked in the top four in All School History for home runs and runs batted in. She also excelled behind the plate as she led her team for three years in throwing runners out.

Prior to joining the Urban Knights' coaching staff, Miller coached the Mustang Softball Academy in Wichita, Kansas for seven years. She served as both a pitching and hitting instructor for the Mustang's, working with girls ages 5-17.

Megan also spent some time as an intern at Ouachita Parish High School working with the Athletic Director. Also at Ouachita Parish, she served as the strength and conditioning and special skills coach for the softball team.

Originally from Wichita, Kansas Megan now resides in Walnut Creek, CA. This will be her second season coaching the Urban Knights.
