Abidjan Castro-Lopez is in his first year as Academy of Art University student manager.
At Strawberry Mansion High School in his hometown of Philadelphia, PA, Castro-Lopez served as a team manager for the women's basketball team and later became the statistician for both the men's and women's teams. He had also served as a volunteer at an after-school program in which he assisted others with homework and life skills.
In the summer prior to coming to Academy of Art University, Castro-Lopez volunteered with his little brother's summer team, the Magic City Mystics, in Birmingham, AL.
A native of Philadelphia, PA, Castro-Lopez is a Fashion Design major at Academy of Art University. He hopes to become a successful unisex and knit wear designer upon graduation.
