2010: Allis achieved her personal best (28:24) and had her top finish (38th) at the Pacific West Conference Championships on Nov. 6.
Career: Emily Allis was a four-year letterwinner in track & field at San Luis Obispo High School ... set school records in 300 meter hurdles (43.5), the 4x1 relay (48.1), and the 4x4 relay (3:51) ... her team was CIF champions twice ... honors include: CA state meet qualifier, coaches' award, Most Valuable Track Athlete ... lists her biggest athletic thrill as making it to masters' meet for the 300 hurdles and making it up the killer sand dune 19 times.
Personal: Emily Allis was born June 3, 1991 in Palo Alto, CA ... parents are Shelly and Bob Allis ... has two brothers, Scott (15) and Derek (10) ... hopes to become an illustrator/album artist/designer ... enjoys running/hurdling, hiking, surfing, drawing/creating, and playing piano ... Illustration major.
