Devin Dougherty joined the Urban Knights as Volunteer Assistant Coach in the Fall of 2016. The Woodland, Calif. native helped found the women's golf program at Pioneer High School where she led her team to four consecutive league championships. As an individual, she advanced to the regional qualifiers all four years and medaled in her senior season. Furthermore, she was given Team MVP honors and named Second-Team All-Conference her junior year.Â
Dougherty attended University of Colorado, Boulder where she played three years on the golf team. While there, CU was ranked as high as No. 10 and received a berth to the NCAA Championship in 2012. Dougherty was also a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee which relayed student-athletes' concerns to administration. She earned her bachelor's degree in Business Operations with a minor in Economics.Â
Dougherty now resides in San Francisco and volunteers with the Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture.Â
