PacWest Baseball Weekly Awards for the week of April 4, 2016
 
IRVINE, Calif. – Freshman right hander Daniel Farfan was named PacWest Co-Player of the Week for his performance against Hawaii Pacific on March 29, 2015.

The Soledad, Calif. native spun a gem against the sharks, notching his first career win in the form of a seven-inning, complete-game shutout. The freshman allowed just three hits in the process while striking out six and walking four. This was Farfan's second consecutive strong showing as he started game three in his previous outing against Concordia, tossing 9.0 innings on five hits in a scheduled-seven-inning game.
 
This is Farfan's first career PacWest weekly award.
