KNIGHT WATCH
Senior forward
Anissa Wilson broke the ART U women's soccer career goals record in the Urban Knights
most recent match against Notre Dame de Namur. It was the 19th goal of Wilson's career, which passed Hannah Emmett's record set in 2013, and brought her season point total to an astonishing 28. Her career point total moves up to 42, one shy of tying the ART U career points record. On that very same goal junior midfielder
Sydney Cooke recorded her fifth assist of the season and 10th of her career to break
Jasmine Sharpe's career assists record set in 2012. Cooke now has the second most points for ART U with 12 points on four goals and five assists. She is also one assist back from tying the single-season assists record.
CHAMINADE SILVERSWORDS
Chaminade comes into their match with ART U on a four-match losing streak. Most recently the Silverswords fell 1-2 to Azusa Pacific. On Halloween two days prior, they dropped a 2-0 decision to Biola. The streak started with a 3-0 loss to Concordia before Point Loma overpowered the 'Swords 4-0. Their one tie in PacWest play came just before the losing streak, against Dominican in a scoreless match. The Silverswords lone conference win came in their first PacWest match, a 2-1 victory over Notre Dame de Namur. A short non-conference slate started with a 2-1 loss to No. 17 Dallas Baptist before back-to back ties against Hawaii Pacific and UH Hilo. The first tie came by way of a 2-2 score, while the second match against the Vulcans was scoreless. Randi Fontes leads the team in points with nine on four goals and one assist. ART U is 9-4 all-time against the SIlverswords and has won three of the past four meetings, including last year's match by a score of 1-0.
HAWAII PACIFIC SHARKS
With an overall record of 7-7-1 and a conference record of 4-5 for 12 points, the Sharks are in fifth place in the PacWest, one point ahead of ART U. The Sharks started their season with six non-conference matches, in which they went 3-2-1. Their first win of the season came against Central Washington 3-2. Two matches later they routed Saint Martin's 5-0. Their final non-conference win came against UH Hilo in a double overtime 3-2 win. The Sharks started PacWest play with a 2-0 loss to NDNU before rattling off four straight wins. The four-match win streak gave way to a four match losing streak, beginning with a 5-2 loss to Azusa Pacific. Biola took down the Sharks 2-0 next, before Concordia defeated them 3-2, and most recently Point Loma held HPU scoreless in a 2-0 win. The Sharks are the third highest scoring offense in the league, averaging 1.75 goals per match and their forward Ebony Madrid is the highest scoring individual with 29 points on 13 goals and three assists. ART U is 3-7-1 all-time against HPU and tied in their most recent meeting 1-1 on
