Freshman Jessica Plazas posted four wins with two in singles and two in doubles in a week filled with victory for Academy of Art women's tennis.

The Urban Knights saw Plazas team up with freshman Estelle Najean for a doubles win to clinch the point for their team in the 6-2 final over UH Hilo on Court 2 before she made quick work of the Vulcans’ Nanami Okamoto 6-1, 6-0 in singles play on Feb. 26. Plazas and Najean would then square up against Concordia’s second doubles team on Feb. 29 where she’d take them down 6-4, before Plazas flew through her singles match versus Tiffany Carillo (eighth in the West Region), taking it 6-2, 6-0.
