Clutch baskets from the field, three-point range, and foul line were turned in by redshirt freshman guard Karereatua Williams who delivered a season-high 15 points to lead Academy of Art women's basketball in its 67-66 overtime win over Chaminade on Dec. 21.

The Urban Knights' final Pacific West Conference game of the 2024 calendar year featured a big second half comeback by ART U with all 15 of Williams' points coming in that and overtime. After the Communications & Media Technologies major's jumper tied the contest with 29 seconds left in the fourth quarter, she ended the back-and-forth thriller with game-winning free throws as only one second remained on the clock. The Christchurch, New Zealand native ended with two rebounds and two assists along with her scoring total.

Through the first 11 games of her collegiate career, Williams ranks among the top 17 in the PacWest at 1.7 triples made per game after making three in four of her last five outings.
