After this past week’s Harvard Invitational and John Thomas Terrier Classic, only two Academy of Art Urban Knights have run sub-6.70 in the 60m dash and sub-21.10 in the 200m dash: Hall of Famer Mobolade Ajomale and Ajani Ince.

Ince began by dropping his second 60m personal record of 6.67 in the Harvard Invite on Jan. 31 final while settling into fourth among Indoor Nationals provisional qualifiers in the process. At the John Thomas Terrier Classic on Feb. 1, Ince bettered a 22-sprinter field by more than 0.20 seconds with his 21.08 that can also be found fourth in the country and second in program history.

In addition to his individual success, Ince provided the second leg of the Urban Knights' 3:11.36 mark in the 4x400m relay which has them fourth in the country among Indoor Nationals provisional qualifiers.
