Kennedy Kurgat  ran an indoor season best in the mile during the UW Husky Invitational hosted by the University of Washington.

Kurgat, beat out runners in his heat from such Division I programs as; Cal, Portland State, and Oklahoma State to finish fifth with a time of 4:18.51, an impressive seconds faster than he finished in his season opener just one month ago.
