Junior center fielder Joseph Marchini hit .467 with three multi-hit games on the road at the University of Hawaii at Hilo to close out the 2015 strong for the Academy of Art University baseball team. Marchini set a new ART U single-season record for hits in the final series, finishing with 59 to break Zach Babitt's old record of 56 from 2012. Marchini also carried an on-base percentage of .500 against the Vulcans. He had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage and only struck out three times in 16 plate appearances. Marchini finished the year with a four-game hitting streak and hits in nine of his last 10 games.
