Freshman guard Vianai Austin was a key contributor in the Urban Knights' 72-69 upset of No. 16 Grand Canyon this past Monday, Feb. 13. The La Puente, CA native came off the bench to score 11 points (including a perfect 3-of-3 from beyond the arc), grab six rebounds, notch three steals, and deal out one assist. She did all this in just 21 minutes on the floor.

Austin heated up from distance particularly late in the first half as Academy of Art used an 8-0 run to capture a 10-point advantage. The freshman guard scored nine points in the first period and then got a crucial layup with under five minutes to go in the second as the Knights managed to stay ahead of the Antelopes inside GCU Arena.
