Freshman Alma Thell-Lenntorp proved vital during the women’s tennis PacWest Conference Championship where Academy of Art placed fifth and was crowned champion of the isolation bracket.
 
The Lund, Sweden native was the only Urban Knight to notch a singles win in every contest during the tournament. In the sixth-position, she swept two out of four opponents (Dominican and Concordia) and outscored her adversaries 48-7.
 
Thell-Lenntorp was nearly perfect in doubles as well, registering a 3-1 record while partnering with her twin, Klara Thell-Lenntorp. The duo’s sole loss came in a 6-8 outcome against Hawaii Pacific’s No. 1-ranked doubles pair in the country.
