Sophomore infielder Cassandra Mittman was a run-producing machine for Academy of Art softball in its four-game Pacific West Conference series with Hawaii Pacific last week.

Helping the Urban Knights' score their first run of the series opener on Mar. 10, the Web Design & New Media major roped her first double of the year in the fourth inning to plate senior utility Dominique Seva'aetasi and every run would prove critical in that contest which ART U won in walk-off fashion 3-2. The following day on Mar. 11, Mittman delivered back-to-back 3-for-4 efforts, posting two runs batted in on a single in the seventh inning of the first game before notching a career-high three RBIs in a 12-10 victory in the series finale with the Sharks.

On the week, Mittman hit .500 (7-for-14) with a six RBIs, two runs scored, and one double.
