LAST MATCH RECAP

Despite dropping the first two sets (23-25, 15-25) to the Seasiders, a sparkle of the team that once was emerged. In the third set when it looked as if the Urban Knights would receive their fifth sweep of the season, ART U dug deep and pulled out a win.

The Seasiders opened the set on a 5-0 run. But, a kill by Camille Board, who was a solid for the Knights all game, gave ART U their first point of the set, which sparked a 4-0 run. With BYU-Hawaii six points away from victory, 19-14, the Urban Knights scored nine of the next 11 points to tie the game at 22 a piece. On the very next play the Urban Knights took their first lead of the set, 23-22. With the crowd on their feet ART U rallied past the Seasiders to take the set, 25-23.

"The way the girls responded to the position changes I made in the third set was great," said Magner. "I am really proud of the way they played [in that set]," she added.
