The Knights first travel to take on bay area conference members Notre Dame de Namur University on Nov. 4th. They then return home to host their final game of the season on Nov. 6th. ART U is set to take on Dixie State at their home field, Boxer Stadium, at 8:30 am. This will also be the Urban Knights' senior day.
Knights recap: The women have been playing well, but have been unable to pull everything together to earn a win. They were recently defeated by Grand Canyon and Dominican who were No. 2 and 3 in the conference respectively. But the Knights are putting everything together and coming out attacking in this last week of their season.

Junior Megan Bucci is behind her with two goals and two assists, for six points, and sophomore Jasmine Sharpe follows with one goal, and three assists for five points this year. Emi Sullivan and Carmela Doerr round out the scoring for ART U as they both have two goals for four points.
Goal Keepers Melissa Co and Hana Klimek have split time in the net. They have combined for 101 saves (second in the PacWest). Co has played in 785 minutes, recording 56 saves, while Klimek has played 730 minutes in the net, posted two shutouts, and 45 saves.
Scouting Notre Dame de Namur University: The Argos sit two notches above the Urban Knights, as they are in 7th place in the PacWest rankings. They currently have a 5-5-2 conference record, and most recently they defeated Grand Canyon University 1-0 in overtime. They are led offensively by Sarah Biser who has five goals and one assist, for 11 points this season. Five other Argos have scored goals on the season, four of those players with multiple goals. In the net they are led by Kelsey Baxter who has played in over 1202 minutes and has recorded 83 saves. As a team, the Argos have scored 15 goals, have six shutouts, and 99 shots on goal. When ART U and NDNU played each other earlier this season, the game ended in a 0-0 tie after double overtime.
Scouting Dixie State College: The Red Storm currently sits in third place in the conference standings after their three game winning streak. They have a conference record of 7-5 and most recently defeated Chaminade University with a score of 6-0. As a team, Dixie has scored 30 goals on 26 assists, and have recorded 55 saves. Offense is their strength, and they are led by Wendy Stratford who has six goals for 12 points, and Mindy Beckstrom who has five goals and two assists, also for 12 points on the year. Nine other Red Strom players have recorded goals on the season, and four additional players have posted assists on the year. April Beck has seen the majority of the time in the net for her team. She has played in over 1222 minutes, allowed 13 goals, and posted 46 saves. Beck has a 10-5 record with three shutouts. When the two teams faced each other at the start of the season, Dixie State came away with the victory over the Urban Knights.
Looking Ahead: Academy of Art University's last game of the season will be held at home on Saturday, November 6th. Before the start of the game, the Urban Knights will recognize their senior Miriam Tolentino, in a short ceremony prior to kick-off. The game will be held at Boxer Stadium at 8:30 am.
