OPENING SERVE
The Urban Knights rebounded nicely against William Jessup up in Rocklin, CA. The first set was a see-saw battle but the Knights won 27-25, and then went on to roll in the second set 25-12 before finishing off the Lady Warriors 25-17 in the third set. Angela Heath had 10 kills, Midori Le had 14 digs, and setter Melissa Cheng had 27 assists in the win for the Knights.

DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN
Leinani Keanini, who starred in the first matchup against William Jessup, put up almost identical numbers the second time around. Back on September 16, Keanini totaled seven kills, 10 digs, three total blocks, and a service ace. On Friday, October 14, she had seven kills, 12 digs, and a service ace for the Knights. It was also the second three-game sweep by ART U over William Jessup.

ALL ABOUT CHEMISTRY
Head coach Allison Magner has stressed team chemistry since taking over as interim coach last year, and says that chemistry played a big role in their win over the Lady Warriors. "Synergy, to me, is all components working as one," Coach Magner said. "It's been hard to stick with a lineup due to injury and sometimes having players with less experience on the court, but synergy is truly getting a lineup where everyone can know their piece of the job and perform it to help us win."

ERRORS PLAGUE ARGOS
The Argos sit behind Academy of Art in the PacWest standings after falling in a two-game series to Grand Canyon last week. NDNU made 33 errors against the 'Lopes, including 11 errors in the second set that swung the momentum in GCU's favor for the rest of the match. Christina Villamayor led all players in the match with 12 kills, and sits at fourth place in the PacWest in kills per set (3.78). Jennifer Jasper had 11 for the Argos, and is right behind her teammate in seventh place (3.35). Setter Bailey Agnello is seventh in the conference at 8.08 assists per set. The Knights are 4-2 all-time against the Argos.

HOW SWEEP IT IS
The Urban Knights have swept the Lady Penguins in six straight sets so far in 2011, and Dominican's volleyball team is still winless this year. Angela Heath dominated the box score and the Penguins, leading the team in kills (12) and only had two errors, good for a .476 hitting percentage. She also added seven digs and five total blocks as the Knights came out with a 25-17, 25-23, 25-12 victory. The Penguins lost sophomore Hannah Stocking after she collided with the pole on an attack, but are still led by Jessica Jones (2.11 kills/set) and Seluia Falealili (1.89 kills/set). ART U is now 7-1 all-time against the Penguins.

LOOKING AHEAD
After the Knights finish up this week's  will head to the Hawaiian Islands for a six-game swing against Hawaii-Hilo, BYU-Hawaii, Chaminade, and Hawaii-Pacific before finishing up the year at home against Notre Dame de Namur.
